NCDE's last audition was March 2, 2025, for our 20th anniversary season. If you would like to be notified when auditions are next scheduled, please let us know!

Auditions run like an informal class, with a group warm-up followed by learning a phrase. No need to prepare any materials in advance. Bring a CV if you have one, but it is not necessary. Come with comfortable dance clothes and an open mind!

The company offers challenging material in a fun and supportive rehearsal environment; choreographic opportunities will also be available. Company members will be eligible to attend summer dance camp in 2025 for the creation of site-specific work. Following mentoring within the company, NCDE dancers and alumnae have started their own community performance projects, run their own studios, apprenticed with Joffrey Ballet, and trained with Mark Morris Dance Group's teaching program, among other pursuits.
